Serre Chevalier Meeting Points
We have two meeting points depending on availability. Note: for full day private lessons (and for some proXplore and proVenture courses), your instructor can meet you at any of Serre Chevalier's lift stations e.g. Monêtier, Villeneuve, Chantemerle or Briançon.
Monêtier OUR BASE
The New Generation meeting point is situated at the bottom of the BACHAS chair lift, next to the electronic piste map. New Generation ski instructors are easily identifiable in their bright green ski suits .
Villeneuve/La Salle/Le Bez BY REQUEST
The New Generation meeting point (by request) is situated at the bottom of the FREJUS bubble, next to the large piste map. New Generation ski instructors are easily identifiable in their bright green ski suits.
GETTING TO YOUR MEETING POINT
*** Your coaching starts in Monêtier but you're staying elsewhere in Serre Chevalier ***
- If you’re a Novice (not comfy on blues and easy reds) OR your lesson starts before 11:30:
Take the MONETIER ski bus (free with lift pass or guest card/carte d’hôte) – it runs every 20 mins from many stops along the main valley road. Get off the bus at Monêtier - Pré Chabert. Journey times: Villeneuve/La Salle/Le Bez – allow 15 minutes (min), Chantemerle/St. Chaffrey – allow 20 minutes (min), Briançon – allow 30 minutes (min).
- If you’re comfy skiing blues and easy reds AND your lessons start at 11:30 or later:
Ski to Monêtier. To access the Monêtier sector, take the Vallons chair lift from the Fréjus area in Villeneuve (2000m). Follow signs for Monêtier and enjoy the ski! Allow 1-2 hours depending on where you're staying.
*** Your coaching starts at the Fréjus bubble but you're staying in Monêtier ***
- If you’re not confident skiing red runs OR your lesson starts before 11:30:
You need the BRIANCON ski bus (free with lift pass or guest card/carte d’hôte) – it runs every 20 mins from various stops in Monêtier. Get off the bus at Fréjus. Journey time: allow 15 minutes (min).
- If you’re comfy skiing red runs AND your lessons start at 11:30 or later:
You can ski to the Fréjus bubble - allow 1.5 hours.
*** Your coaching starts at the Fréjus bubble but you're staying in Chantemerle or Briançon ***
- If you’re not confident skiing all blue runs OR your lesson starts before 11:30:
You need the MONETIER ski bus (free with lift pass or guest card/carte d’hôte) – it runs every 20 mins (low) from many stops along the main valley road. Get off the bus at Fréjus. Journey times: Chantemerle/St. Chaffrey – allow 10 minutes (min), Briançon – allow 15 minutes (min).
- If you’re comfy skiing all blue runs AND your lessons start at 11:30 or later:
You can ski to the Fréjus bubble - allow 1-2 hours depending on where you're staying.
