Courchevel 1850 is famous for being one of the best ski resorts in the world. We agree. The slopes here are amazing. There is a variety of terrain second to none. The lifts are excellent (most chairlifts are high speed quads), and the grooming of the slopes outstanding. For beginners 1850 is a mecca.

The resort has a really good beginners area. For good skiers the opportunities are endless. Off-piste and couloirs can be found off the Saulire as well as many other places. Due to its popularity the powder does get tracked out fairly quickly, unless of course, you know some of the secret places we have found over the years...
