Welcome to Courchevel 1850

Courchevel 1850 is famous for being one of the best ski resorts in the world. We agree. The slopes here are amazing. There is a variety of terrain second to none. The lifts are excellent (most chairlifts are high speed quads), and the grooming of the slopes outstanding. For beginners 1850 is a mecca.

We do not have a ski school shop in Courchevel 1850 as our client base is so spread out. Our meeting point, at the top the Courchevel 1550 chair (Tovets), means we are ideally located for people coming up from Le Praz, Courchevel 1650 (we are opposite the bus stop) and of course, Courchevel 1550. We strongly recommend you book ski lessons before coming to resort as we are a small ski school and run small groups. If do have any questions, or only decide you would like lessons when in-resort, please pop in and we will be pleased to help.

Thanks for a great season

Thanks to everyone who has supported New Generation this season. The snow was superb and we are already looking forward to next year! We are now selling lessons for the 2009/10 season but are not wishing the summer away - fingers crossed for a sizzling summer in the UK and then let it snow, let it snow!

An Awarding Finish to half-term

Congratulations to Fabrizio! (26 Jan 2009)

After getting down on one knee on the small bridge which crosses the canal in Annecy, Fabrizio was pleased to hear the words YES from his girflriend Emma. Congratulations to Fabrizio (New Generation 1850) and his fiance, Emma.

Save 86 Euros with new 'mini pass'

If you are joining our Level 1 or Level 2 Courses then you could take advantage of the new mini pass. The Mini pass is 16 Euros a day and gives you access to the handful of lifts required by beginner skiers. Please let your instructor know if you buy a mini pass. Read more
