This is a 10 day continual assessment course and is the second part of the ski instructor qualification. Successful students will be able to ski to a competent level, and have the knowledge, ability and understanding to safely teach Alpine skiing up to and including parallel standard on marked pistes. With your BASI ski instructor licence you can teach on snow in Scandinavia, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.
In order to participate in the Instructor Training course, students are required to have up to date BASI associate membership. If the course is successfully completed students can then apply to BASI for full membership. For more information see www.basi.org.uk.

Ski Buying Guide
We often get asked to recommend skis for the course, which can be tricky as it often down to individual taste. However, we do provide an equipment guide to students who are joining our gap courses, which is a good introduction to what’s out there. Have a look here.
We are running several all-inclusive training courses to prepare students for their Alpine Level 2 courses. Training Courses are being run in November (Tignes) and March (Courchevel). For more information click on our Mini-GAP Level 2.
