Dave Meyer

Dave's passion for ski coaching has taken him around the world for the last 13 seasons, teaching in resorts in the Highlands of Scotland, New Zealand, Italy and France. He has been based in Meribel for 3 seasons with New Generation where he coaches the gap year instructor programme.

Dave loves learning himself, and makes it his personal goal to gain new qualifications every year, along with inspiring others to do the same and get out there and do their best.

Dave has a couple of degrees and in the past has been a researcher of Marine Biology, adventure tour guide and dive instructor. This summer he headed to Thailand to teach diving and obtained a mountain leader qualification before leading young adults through the jungles of Borneo for 3 months as an adventure project manager with the personal development charity Raleigh International

Top Tip:

Whatever your level, confidence is a huge part of skiing and your potential to learn and develop. This can come from knowing that you are strong and agile and trusting your body to make the moves. Use your ski holiday as a great motivation tool to get fit and you will reap the benefits of all your hard work at the gym when you arrive on the hill.
