Pete Miles Pete Miles

Pete returns to the Courchevel Ski School again this year, whilst continuing as one of our Gap coaches, mentoring trainee instructors for their first BASI exams. A Marine Biology graduate from the University of St Andrews, Pete has since swapped studying dolphins in the North Sea for coaching skiing in Europe and NZ. Loves skiing, loves teaching. He is known for his calm, relaxed style.  A soul surfer at heart, dreaming of big powder days and big perfect waves.  Whatever your needs, whether a confidence boosting introduction to skiing or making that break-through to parallel turns, a technical bumps session with video feedback, hunting off-piste powder, or even just a relaxed ski and a good lunch, Pete can help you make the most of your time in the mountains

Client Feedback:

My instructor during w/c 29 March, Pete, was really excellent. Intelligent, articulate, able to assess errors in technique and suggest immediate corrections. After 2 hours, I felt like each day had been a real learning experience - but I'd enjoyed it as well! (Courchevel, March 2010)

‘Pete gave good explanations on techniques and any problems we had.’ (Verbier, April 2009)
