St Anton Children’s Group Ski Lessons

Often touted as a challenging resort or off-piste mecca, St Anton also offers a variety of slopes suitable for skiers of all levels and ages. We run a full programme of St Anton children’s ski lessons, from our 4yr old Whippersnappers up to all-mountain teen groups in our Pro Rider group (up to 17yrs). All our children’s lessons are based around fun and learning through play. And we’ll always finish on a high with a challenge or activity on the last day.

Your child’s safety is at the forefront of our minds at all time. All children must be signed in an out and must wear a bib (with loops for the younger children to offer more support) to make them easily recognisable.  And our lessons are planned carefully to ensure they progress in a safe and supportive environment.

Our children’s lessons run in St Anton during peak weeks and on request, so contact us for availability if you’re travelling out of school holiday times as we may be able to offer children’s lessons. Please get in touch for more info.

Our Children’s Ski Groups

A Range of Levels

We run ski lessons for children and teens from 4-17years, and groups are decided based on age, ability, and experience.

  • Whippersnappers (4-8yrs)
  • Wallabies (beginners 9-12yrs)
  • Arrows (5-7yrs or 7-12yrs)
  • Bombers (6-12yrs)
  • Rockets (8-13yrs)
  • Freeride (10-13yrs)
  • Pro Rider (13-17yrs)

You can read more about the requirements for each group and select the most appropriate group for your child using our children’s level guide.

Whippersnappers are one-on-one

NEW for 2020/21: We’re now providing one-on-one lessons for our youngest skiers in Austria, in place of a small group lesson. With somewhat steeper terrain than many of our other resorts, we believe this is the best option for you child to learn to ski.

Our aim is that they will progress quickly during their first week on skis, whilst getting the full attention of their instructor in each and every lesson. And ultimately, have more fun and learn to love skiing as much as we do.

Top Tips

  • For lessons longer than 2hrs we will normally stop for a break so please ensure they have 5€ for a hot chocolate, and a snack in case they get hungry.
  • We have a rigid signing in and out procedure for all of our kids’ group lessons, so please ensure you arrive at least 10minutes early on the first day.
  • All children skiing with us must wear a helmet.
