A Skill Session is for intermediate and advanced skiers or boarders. They allow you to focus on a skill and master it, with tips and techniques to take away and practice – all for €60 or 90 CHF.

The Skill Sessions focus on a selection of skiing and boarding themes. Coaches are specially selected for each theme so that you are guaranteed an expert in the field!

Skill Sessions available (ski or board):

  • Steeps – tackle those blacks and itineraries with confidence.
  • Park – have some time with one of our pro freeskiers and add some tricks to your repertoire.
  • Carving – all our instructors had to race to qualify, and they love that moment when someone first properly carves a turn.
  • Ice – no one likes coming across an icy piste and feeling unable to tackle it. However there are a few simple techniques that will help you feel more confident.
  • Freeride – this means tips and tactics for off piste. Perhaps you want to know how to make it through trees, or maybe it is a big powder week and you want to learn how to ski or board in powder.
  • Bumps – we are all guilty of avoiding bumps sometimes. But in actual fact learning to ski them properly is great fun, and it also improves many other areas of your skiing.

SkillSession levels:

We recommend that you are a minimum of Level 5 (skier) or Level 3 (snowboarder) before participating in a Skill Session. We then have 2 different skill session categories:

  • Explorer- exploring the theme for the first time
  • Developer – developing existing skills

SkillSessions are always guaranteed to run

We have developed a unique system so that Skill Sessions are always guaranteed to run. This means that even if you are the only person to book, the session will still run and you will get some one-on-one help.

If 1 person on the Skill Session – runs for 1 hour
If 2 people on the Skill Session – runs for 1.5 hours
If 3 people on the Skill Session – runs for 2 hours
If 4 people on the Skill Session – runs for 2.5 hours
If 5 people on the Skill Session – runs for 3 hours

Helmets are advised on all Skill Sessions.
