You’re happy getting around the piste. You love trying out new runs or tree routes. But you’d quite like to brush up on your technique and you’re not always sure where to find the best adventure.
The New Gen ProXplores are for intermediate (happy on blues and reds) to advanced (happy everywhere) skiers who want an experience and some local knowledge while they are on holiday. From piste ski guiding with tips to a full off piste adventure we try to match your ProXplore session with our instructors’ specific skills and passions. As well as making the most of the available terrain (and showing you our top spots if it’s a powder day).
These are the sessions that make our instructors think they have the best jobs in the world. It’s not normal ski school. The emphasis will be on learning on the move. And we help you improve while showing you why we really really love skiing in our resorts. We start at 9am to beat the queues so don’t be late!
1. The Cruise Experience, Explore the best blue and red runs. Level 4+ – Level 5
- Stronger skiers are welcome but we will be cruising our way around!
- 3 – 6 people in a group.

Join us for a rewarding couple of days cruising the blues and easy reds beyond your resort’s boundaries and enjoy the thrill of new slopes and fantastic views. Your instructor will take you down his favourite runs and find the best snow on the mountain.
2. The Steeps Experience: Explore the most challenging runs and itineraries: Level 6 – Level 7
- Skiers who can ski black runs safely and with confidence
- 3 – 6 people in a group.
- Start 9am. 1 day 5 hrs*
- Upgrade ski pass may be required.

Our instructor will guide you while you explore the steepest and some of the most exciting terrain your resort has to offer. We provide coaching on the move to help you get the most out of each descent. We will take you down our favourite runs and search out the best snow using local knowledge– whether it is sneaking off the piste into the trees or dropping into an infamous itinerary run.
3. The Off Piste Experience. Levels 6 and 7
- Skiers who can ski black runs safely and have already skied off piste before.
- 3 – 6 people in a group.
- Start 9am. 1 day 5 hrs*
- Upgrade ski pass may be required

Each resort has some really famous off piste routes that are a small hike from the piste, but without a guide you wouldn’t even know they were there. Join our Off Piste Experience and you will get a proper taste of some of the most famous off piste sections in the area. With skis on your back and thigh strength at the ready you may hike up and into the couloirs of Courchevel, or pop between the trees of Serre Chevalier, or the itineraries of Verbier. These are just a couple of examples of places you can have conquered within a 5 hour session and have really earned your Tartiflette.
Obviously all these sessions are “conditions permitting” but with one of our instructors on hand you can be sure that you will find the best snow available while you are here. We can provide you with off piste safety equipment, or recommend where to hire it. We guarantee tired legs and a whole host of skiing achievements to recount to your friends back at the chalet!

2 day ProXplore sessions
We also offer all our ProXplore course across 2 days (for €199 or 240 CHF). It’s great if you want more adventure than can fit into one day, so you get the most out of specialist coaching and guiding. In Serre Chevalier we find people need the extra day to finally bag that visit to La Grave they’ve been hankering after … their 2 day ProXplores are €175 and run from 9am – 5pm.
