Martin Rowe

Ski Instructor, Peisey Vallandry

My Story

I first skied when I was 13 on a family holiday to Austria. By the age of 16 I was already teaching in Scotland and after 3 seasons, the lure of bigger mountains was too great. Soldeu in Andorra was my next location where I taught for 16 seasons and for the last few I helped to run the British side of the ski school. The Alps were the next obvious destination and in 1989 myself, my wife and 3 year old son moved to Villaroger, Les Arcs where we have been ever since.
