Ideally situated in the Paradiski Area, and thanks to the 2003 addition of the Vanoise Express, La Plagne provides access to an expansive ski resort linked with Les Arcs. This vast resort offers an array of runs for all levels of skiers and boarders with over 225kms of pistes in La Plagne alone and 425kms within the entire Paradiski area.
La Plagne is one of France’s most popular resorts with families and friend groups alike. With 11 different villages making up La Plagne itself, you can find the perfect place for your holiday – be it high altitude ski-in, ski-out accommodation or traditional mountain village charm.
And no matter what you’re looking for, La Plange has something to offer for all ski abilities. A large portion of La Plagne’s ski area is a beginner’s playground and it’s well known for being a beginner-friendly resort. There are a number of open green and blue slopes situated on a rolling plateau high above the tree line. The wide, well-groomed pistes across the resort leave much space for beginners to practice their turns on. And it’s also a great place for intermediates and families looking for wide open slopes. However, that said, there is also large off-piste areas, steep couloirs, and steep descents. And with the Vanoise Express linking the resort up to Les Arcs and the rest of the Paradiski’s 425kms of pistes, there’s plenty to keep you busy!
