I grew up in the Lake District and tried skiing for the first time when I was 6, I was instantly hooked! I began teaching at my local dry ski slope at 16 and since then have taught in Italy, Switzerland, France, and New Zealand, where as well as instructing I have become involved in both race and freestyle coaching.
In the past few years I have completed my ISTD Level 4 with BASI and after deciding Verbier was the resort for me I went on to achieve my Patente, the highest level of qualification within the Swiss Snowsports System.
I am New Generation Verbier’s longest-serving member and I will be returning to work in Verbier for my 7th winter. Why do I keep coming back? I love the great mix of immaculate pistes, amazing off-piste descents, and hidden tree runs. My favourite place to ski is in the powder amongst the Canadian trees over in Bruson. To avoid the crowds head up to Savoleyres or over the valley to Bruson. No crowds and some amazing skiing! The incredible terrain is backed up by a lively party scene making Verbier one of the best resorts in the Alps! For great eating on the mountain head to the Dahu in la Chaux or Carrefour that’s located at the top of Le Rouge (I would highly recommend the Rosti Creblet at Carrefour!).
I am also the lead mentor for both the New Generation GAP course in Verbier and New Generation Verbier Level 3 ISIA training.
