I grew up in Cheshire, England and I learnt to ski in France. Serre Chevalier is where I instantly became hooked! I first taught skiing in the Chillfactore, Manchester for a year and a half, where I became the head of freestyle & head of the children’s race club. I now live in Verbier and have been in here for the past 2 years after completing my BASI level 3. I work as a ski instructor in the winter and work at a children’s summer camp in the warmer months. During my time ski instructing, I have taught people of all abilities and nationalities, including a race team from Dubai and a group from Uganda. They had never seen snow before, which was super cool! My favourite sports to play and watch other than skiing are tennis, football, rugby and hockey.
Perseverance! Skiing can be hard and once you learn that falling isn’t so bad, get up and keep on trying!
