I grew up in Kent which is not famous for its skiing, but I was lucky enough to have parents that ran a ski chalet in Morzine. So as pot washing as payment, I managed to get a lot of skiing in as a kid. My first season was back in 2003 ski instructing in Verbier and competing in freestyle competitions. Since then I have worked in Val d’Isère & I am now based in the Belleville Valley (one of the Three Valleys) skiing and snowboarding out of St Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens.
I love off-piste skiing! Luckily the Belleville Valley has an amazing range of easy off-piste to get you into riding the pow-pow, plus we have some much tougher terrain on our doorstep if you know where to look.
If you trying to get into the soft stuff take out some rocker tipped skis as the float well on the top of the snow much like water skis.
Fancy a private lesson with Luke on your next holiday?
