Skiing has always been a family passion and I have been fortunate enough to be skiing since the age of 3. Around the age of 16, it became apparent that becoming a ski instructor was a serious and potential career path. As soon as I completed my A-Levels I set about developing my skiing ability with the hope of pursuing a career as a ski instructor.
In March 2013 I passed my BASI 1 and 2. In May 2013 I went to work for a full season as a ski instructor in the southern hemisphere. I was based down in New South Wales in a resort called Thredbo. I saw this as an incredible opportunity to teach and my passion for skiing deepened further. From January 2014 I continued my training and am well on my way to completing my full ISIA.
I love all aspects of skiing. I especially enjoy teaching the different disciplines and seeing clients gain confidence on the slopes. I particularly enjoy skiing off-piste and in the bumps as these two disciplines allow for a greater amount of creativity. It is always a privilege teaching kids and I have spent much of my time teaching the ages of 3-18. I have valued gaining experience with this age group and enjoy the different challenges it offers.

When learning or skiing off-piste, just go for it, nerves will only affect your skiing. Remember, if you do fall over the snow should be nice and soft!!
