Started as an overly enthusiastic dry slope skier, which thankfully lead me to the snow and allowed me to start my qualifications very early on. Gaining my Level 4 qualification at the age of 20, which allowed me to be one of the youngest to work in France. I have taught in several resorts across the Alps, from Verbier, Val d’Isere and now the Three Valleys.
Something we don’t know about you
My birth name is “Rupert”
People with planks on their feet. I love all skiing.
Relax your feet and let your toes spread out in your boots. Especially on that first day back. It can be quite tempting to try and grab the sole of the boot with your toes, but this just creates tension in your legs which despite making it harder to ski, tires those legs out quickly. So let your toes go and get loose.
