I began skiing age 4 through going on yearly family holidays to France. This progressed to ski racing which gave me the opportunity growing up to experience skiing all over the world. I raced with the national team from the age of twelve at various levels until I went to University at 19.
Being hugely passionate about skiing I started training as an instructor at 16 so effectively have been teaching/coaching for the past 14 years. I began instructing at the local dry slope while still at school. I continued this through University while also beginning to get involved in coaching at a local race club. After this I decided to follow my dream of making a career in the mountains and have been coaching at a ski academy for the last 7 years. During this time I also taught and coached in New Zealand and have coached trainee ski instructors for their Eurotest for the past 5 autumns.
I visited Val d’Isere to work at the end of last season and absolutely loved it so made the decision to move here to work on a more permanent basis.
I really enjoy developing technical skiing in all ages and abilities.
Getting on the best equipment (skis and boots) to suit your needs will see you make the biggest improvements in your lessons.
