I’ve been skiing since the age of 3, with the bug really biting towards the end of my teens. After completing a degree in Music Technology and working as a freelance sound engineer for a couple of years, I gave in to temptation and trained as an instructor. I love having the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and passion for skiing, be it to beginners or experienced skiers looking to progress. Since starting to instruct I have been lucky enough to teach and train in some amazing resorts, in France, Italy, Austria, New Zealand, and Switzerland.
This season will be my third in Verbier, having been drawn in by the combination of great pistes and excellent off-piste runs available. The Bruson ski area is a personal favourite, especially to avoid crowds during busy spells. Along with the skiing, Verbier also offers great restaurants and entertainment. I highly recommend Nomad for some incredible sushi, Al Capone for a great pizza and The Loft Bar or T-Bar for live music. Look out for fellow New Genners and Verbier stalwarts, the Whiskey Thieves.
I enjoy teaching all levels and disciplines and love giving clients the confidence and skills to really enjoy the mountains.
If you’re buying boots then ask around and find a good boot fitter. A precise fit will give you more control and confidence, allowing you to get the most from your skiing.
