I grew up in Lancashire in the north west of England where I learnt to ski on my local dry ski slope. I loved skiing in the kids’ club and then the race club, and decided early on that being a ski instructor would be the best job ever. After studying geography at the University of Cambridge (ski instructors can be nerds too!) I started my instructor training in Verbier in 2014. Since then I have enjoyed every season and have been lucky enough to teach and ski in some fantastic resorts including Verbier, Pila, and Courmayeur in Italy and Mount Buller in Australia.
I have experience teaching all ages and levels of skiers, from three years to seventy years, complete beginners to advanced skiers. On my days off in Verbier, I like to go and explore the fantastic off-piste terrain we have, particularly in the trees in Bruson – you never ski the same line twice! When I’m not skiing I like to go hiking, read lots of books and play my flute and saxophone.
