Val d’Isère Ski & Snowboard School

Our Val d’Isère Ski School

Our Val d’Isère Ski School has been running since 2004 and they have a strong reputation in resort. Always touted as a British Ski School, we now like to think of ourselves as international. Our ski and snowboard instructors in Val d’Isère hail from far and wide with some of the best French and Italian instructors, as well as some experienced and fully qualified British ski instructors.

Led by Eurotest-opener Jas Bruce and with a number of BASI trainers in their midst the Val d’Isère instructors are a talented bunch that teach all levels of skier or boarder. Their passions include off-piste and this is an ideal spot from which to take an off-piste course. That said, with the entire Espace Killy to explore you’re only limited by your imagination.

So whether you’re looking for ski lessons for the family, want to learn freestyle in one of our specialist clinics or you’re after an off piste adventure we’ve got something to fit all your needs. And where possible we’ll match you with an instructor with the most suited skills or passions.

Val d’Isere FAQ’s

What lift pass will I need for the lessons?

Beginners (both children and adults) will not need a lift pass for day 1 as there is a free beginner area at the foot of the pistes. Your instructor will tell you when you need to buy a lift pass.

All other groups will need at least a Val d’Isere valley lift pass for your lessons. More advanced skiers, and some of our children’s groups (Bombers, Rockets, Freeriders) might explore the wider Espace Killy in the lessons so we would recommend a full area pass. The price different between the two passes is very small so it is worth the upgrade to make the most of the area.

You can find Val d’Isèare lift pass prices here.

What happens if I’m in the wrong group?

We do our best to ensure that this doesn’t happen during the booking process. If your instructor feels that you are in the wrong group however we will do our best to move you into a more suitable level.

Where can I get my skis and snowboard equipment?
