Verbier Ski School

Our Verbier Ski School

After several years teaching in France we decided to open our Verbier Ski School, and haven’t looked back since. We offer unforgettable ski lessons, adventures and experiences to suit your needs and exceed your expectations. And we know it’s the little things that count. Whether you’re looking for children’s ski lessons, technical ski coaching, a bespoke package for your corporate trip or to find the best lunch spot, our experienced team have got it covered.

Our highly qualified instructors (BASI Level 3/ISIA level or above) are hand-picked to ensure that they’re not just awesome skiers, but that they have the people skills, a passion for helping others develop, personality and local knowledge to ensure you leave happy, every time. From the first point of contact to when you leave resort, we’ll be on hand to ensure that your experience in Verbier is great.

An international ski school, our Verbier team is led by everyone’s favourite Northern Brit, Tom Waddington. Known to the team affectionately as their fearless leader. Tom is a race coach and a BASI trainer and examiner. In fact, after deciding a career in the city wasn’t for him, Tom completed all his instructor training with New Gen before moving up the ranks to his current role as Verbier Ski School Manager. And, when not teaching clients, Tom also runs our Ski Instructor Training Centre in Verbier. He now spends his summers in Le Chable at the bottom of the Verbier valley so that he can enjoy the mountains year-round.

We don’t teach snowboarding at present in Verbier, but can recommend a school who does.

Feedback from our clients in Verbier

“Jenny was magnificent throughout. Not only was she was really friendly but a really easy person to get on with, and was very clear and simple in her approach to teaching a couple of very poor skiers! She was even kind enough to sit and wait for us while we went to get our ski’s as we were late meeting up with her initially, as it was our first time in Verbier. For that I can only thank her. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.”

“I’ve had two lessons recently, one with Andy and the other with Rob. We both really enjoyed the lessons and found the instruction useful and The instructor left us with drills to practice in the future, we’ll be back for more!”

“This is the 5th time I have used New Gen. I will certainly do so again. I have no complaints whatsoever. The instructors (this time, Dave Roberts) are always friendly, excellent with my kids, always on time and very good teachers.”
