Our Méribel ski school is in its 9th season. The ski school shop located in centre near La Chaudanne very close to the slopes (Just up from the Cactus bar – where they serve the best and biggest bacon sarnies!). Click here for a map.
We strongly recommend you book ski lessons before coming to resort as we are a small ski school and run small groups. If do have any questions, or only decide you would like lessons when in-resort, please pop in and we will be pleased to help.
Meribel is in the middle of the 3 Valleys which makes it an excellent base from which to explore the whole ski area. Meribel is a great place to learn with a wide variety of terrain to suit all levels. Most beginners start their skiing careers on the groomed slopes at the Altiport area. Going further afield it's easy to access the valleys of Courchevel and Val Thorens.
For off-piste and advanced skiing we go to the Mont Vallon area, or pop over the ridge to the Saulire slopes. There are some long off-piste descents in the Meribel valley when the conditions are right.

We are having a fantastic half-term in Meribel. The week started out with blue sky and beautifuly groomed pistes. It has warmed up as the week has gone on which has been very welcome. Fabulous February Skiing Conditions (1 Feb 2010)
We are sooooooo lucky! We had 2 foot of snow at the weekend and have been enjoying blue sky and powder skiing. The temperature has been a bit on the chilly side but who cares! 7 layers and (essential) boot warmers have been keeping us skiing all day long. Tom took a few moments out from lessons in Meribel to update us on the skiing conditions - check out the video. More snow on the way - yippppeeeee!!
