I started skiing at just two years old, beginning in a kids’ group in Sweden before being mostly taught by my parents, who are both great skiers.
I grew up in Halmstad in southwest Sweden—far from the mountains—but skiing was always a non-negotiable family tradition, with at least one ski trip every year.
Skiing quickly became my favourite thing in life, and ski holidays were always the highlight of my year, so doing a season felt like an obvious next step. I’m now in my second season in Verbier and loving every moment of it. In my free time, freeride skiing is my favourite, especially on a powder day, but honestly I enjoy all types of skiing—particularly when it’s shared with good friends and bluebird weather.
One of my best ski memories is a perfect day in Val Thorens with close friends after it snowed all night and stayed sunny all day; I even broke my skis on a rock, but it was absolutely worth it. I became an instructor because teaching and skiing are two of my favourite things, so combining them just made sense. What I love most about instructing is meeting new people, hearing their stories, and watching their confidence and skills grow on the slopes.
Outside of winter, I work as a sailing instructor and a substitute teacher, and in my spare time I enjoy playing golf, sailing, tennis—and I can also say I’ve once helped Peter Crouch back up after he fell on a kids’ slope.
