I learned to ski at the age of 4 at a ski school in Norway. I didn’t grow up in the mountains – skiing was always a holiday thing – but those childhood vacations on snow led me to become a ski instructor in 2018, and I haven’t looked back since. I thought it would be a dream job, and I was right. In my free time, I enjoy all disciplines, and one definite high point was my first powder day with fellow instructors.
My favourite thing about being an instructor is being out in the mountains all day, staying active and enjoying nature. I’ve been teaching for seven years now, and I teach piste skiing in St Anton and Lech.
In the summer, I work back home in a green park, and off the snow, my sport of choice is badminton.
