Italian Ski Instructor Qualification
I grew up in Trentino, surrounded by the Italian Dolomites, where I was lucky enough to spend most of my winter days on the slopes. I learned to ski at 3, first taught by my parents before joining local ski courses and eventually moving into alpine racing. I competed until I was 19, racing at FIS level in my final seasons and specialising in slalom and giant slalom. These days I love carving on groomed pistes with friends, but whenever fresh snow arrives, you’ll usually find me exploring off piste on my freeride skis. It’s hard to pick a single best memory, but my favourites are days spent skiing around the Dolomites with my closest friends – great snow, beautiful scenery and good company is what skiing is all about for me.
After racing, becoming a ski instructor felt like the natural way to stay connected to the sport I grew up with and turn my passion into a career. Being able to call the mountains my office is something I’ll never take for granted, and I love meeting people from all over the world and sharing a great day on the slopes together. I’ve been instructing for four years and teach piste skiing in Courchevel.
During the summer I help my family run our farm, winery and B&B – I’m also in the final stages of a Bachelor’s degree in Oenology – while making the most of the warmer months outdoors: travelling, riding my motorbike, hiking and spending time by the sea. Learning to kitesurf is next on the bucket list. One surprising fact about me: I have a twin sister, and somehow we both find the same weird sitting positions comfortable.
