I started skiing when I was six years old in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where I grew up-lucky enough to live just 200 metres from the slopes. My grandpa and my parents taught me how to ski, and I competed in ski racing until I was around 14, then continued purely for the love of it. These days I do both skiing and snowboarding, mostly freeriding or ski touring when possible. My favourite skiing memory is a multi-day ski touring trip, going from hut to hut and skiing fresh powder every day-waking up in the mountains, spending the whole day out in the snow, then getting back to a cosy hut for dinner and a few beers was such a cool experience.
I wanted a job where I could spend my days outside doing something I love, and becoming a ski instructor felt like the perfect way to combine my passion for skiing with working with people and sharing that passion. My favourite thing about the job is seeing the progress people make and watching their confidence grow. This is my second season.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and a kitesurfing instructor certification, and during the summer I work as both a kitesurf instructor and a physiotherapist. Sports are a big part of my life: surfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, hiking and climbing-basically anything that gets me into the mountains or onto the water. One surprising fact about me: I have three nationalities.
