Where to Meet for Your Avoriaz Lessons

Welcome to Avoriaz. Our meeting point is at the top of the Prodains Express, right at the edge of the resort, and this page gets you there with time to spare.

The Meeting Point (All Group Lessons)

We meet just at the top of the Prodains Express cable car. Look for our instructors in their green New Generation jackets.

  1. From the top station of the Prodains Express, take the escalator.
  2. Turn right at the top.
  3. You’ll see a ticket office on your left. We’re right there.

If you’re staying in Avoriaz, the top station is at the edge of the resort, so you can walk to us. No lift needed.

Find it on your phone:

When to Arrive

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson starts. This ensures that we can start your lesson on time. Check your booking confirmation for your lesson start time. If you’re riding up from the valley, add time for the cable car queue on busy mornings.

Getting Here

Staying in Avoriaz? The resort is completely car free, and everything moves on foot, on skis, or by horse-drawn sleigh. The top of the Prodains Express is at the edge of the resort, a walk from anywhere in the village.

Staying in Morzine or the valley? Ride the Prodains Express up from Les Prodains. It takes 4 minutes, and you’ll need a valid lift pass or a pedestrian ticket. The free Morzine shuttle (Line A) links Morzine centre, the Pléney and the town hall with the cable car station from about 8.30am to 9pm.

By car: The Prodains outdoor car park (540 spaces) sits right beside the cable car station. The first 45 minutes are free, ideal for drop-offs, then it’s paid with a daily maximum of about EUR 26, and spaces can be booked online. If you’re driving all the way up, Avoriaz’s resort entrance has three covered car parks with 1,730 spaces (book ahead in peak weeks), plus a free 600-space outdoor car park 800 metres from the entrance.

What to Bring

  • Your lift pass. If you’re coming up on the Prodains Express you’ll need it (or a pedestrian ticket) to reach us, and everyone needs it for the lesson itself. Handily, there’s a ticket office right at the meeting point if you still need to collect or fix a pass.
  • Skis, boots, poles and a helmet, fitted the day before if you can. See our Avoriaz ski hire guide.
  • Suncream, water and a snack for the kids.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are flexible. We can meet you wherever you like. Please let us know when you book, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. If no alternative meeting point is arranged, your instructor will meet you at the group meeting point at the top of the Prodains Express, as above.

Running Late or Can’t Find Us?

Don’t worry, we’re here to help. Contact our Avoriaz team, staffed during lesson hours, and we’ll guide you in or connect you with your group.
