Welcome to Les Gets. Our meeting point is right on the village’s snow front, and this page gets you there with time to spare.
The Meeting Point (All Group Lessons)
We meet on the snow front beside the Chavannes Express chairlift and the Chavannes gondola. Look for our instructors in their green New Generation jackets.
- Find the Chavannes ticket office, just off the main street.
- Walk up the stairs onto the snow front.
- We’re beside the fence, next to the lifts.
The meeting point is at the village level, so you don’t need a lift pass to reach it.

When to Arrive
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson starts. This ensures that there are no delays to your lesson start. Check your booking confirmation for your lesson start time.
Getting Here
Staying in Les Gets? The village is compact, and the snow front is a short walk from the centre. If you’re further out in the hamlets, free navette shuttles run every 15 to 30 minutes throughout the day and stop near the Chavannes lifts. The free little train also loops the village centre with a stop by the Chavannes lifts.
Coming from Morzine or elsewhere in the valley? The Balad’Aulps bus runs daily along the valley, with a central Les Gets stop near the village. If you’re skiing over from Morzine with a valid Portes du Soleil pass, ski down to the Les Gets snow front, and we’re right there.
By car: The Chavannes underground car park is directly beneath the gondola, right by the meeting point. It’s paid in winter with the first 30 minutes free, and capacity is temporarily reduced this season, so it can fill early. The Perrières car park at the entrance to the village (Taninges side) is free with 350 spaces, and the free shuttle runs from there to the village centre in a few minutes.
What to Bring
- Your lift pass. You don’t need it to reach the meeting point, but you’ll need it for the lesson itself. If you pre-ordered passes, the Chavannes ticket office beside the meeting point has click-and-collect terminals available around the clock.
- Skis, boots, poles and a helmet, fitted the day before if you can. See our Les Gets ski hire guide.
- Suncream, water and a snack for the kids.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are flexible. We can meet you at your chalet, hotel, or anywhere that suits you, but please request a different meeting point when booking. If nothing is arranged, your instructor will meet you at the group meeting point on the snow front, as above.
Running Late or Can’t Find Us?
