Where to Meet for Your Lech Lessons
Welcome to Lech. We have three meeting points here, all in the village, and this page shows you exactly which one is yours.
First, Check Which Meeting Point Is Yours
Your lesson decides your meeting point. All three are at the village level, so you don’t need a lift pass to reach any of them.
Private lessons meet at the Rüfikopfbahn valley station.
Group lessons split by level:
- Children’s Group Lessons: Bombers, Rockets and Freeride
- Adult Group Lessons, Levels 3 and above
On the slope beneath the Flühen practice lift:
- Children’s Group Lessons: Whippersnappers, Wallabies and Arrows
- Adult Group Lessons, Levels 1 and 2
Whichever point is yours, look for our instructors in their green North Face New Generation uniforms.
Not sure of your level? Check your booking confirmation, or see our Find Your Level guide.

Private Lessons: Rüfikopfbahn
Your instructor will meet you in front of the Rüfikopfbahn valley station, on the main street in the centre of Lech. If you’d rather meet somewhere else, such as your hotel, contact our booking office in advance and we’ll do our best to arrange it.
Find it on your phone:
Higher-Level Groups: Bergbahn Oberlech
Bombers, Rockets and Freeride children’s groups, and adult Levels 3 and above, meet at the bottom station of the Bergbahn Oberlech, in the centre of Lech near the church.

Beginner Groups: Flühen Lift
Whippersnappers, Wallabies and Arrows children’s groups, and adult Levels 1 and 2, meet on the slope beneath the Flühen practice lift.

When to Arrive
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson starts. The Rüfikopfbahn can queue at peak times, so private lesson guests heading straight up the mountain should be ready to go.
Getting Here
Staying in Lech? All three meeting points are in or beside the village centre, a short walk from most accommodation. No lift pass is needed to reach any of them on foot.
Staying in Oberlech? Oberlech is car-free in winter, so ride the Bergbahn Oberlech down to the valley station. The higher-level group point is right there when you step out. You’ll need a valid ticket for the Bergbahn; a Ski Arlberg pass works, or your accommodation provides Bergbahn tickets.
Staying in Zürs, Zug or nearby? The closest bus stop to the Flühen and Bergbahn meeting points is Lech Dorfhus. The closest bus stop to the Rüfikopfbahn meeting point is the Lech Rüfiplatz bus stop.
By car: The heated Anger underground car park is in the centre of Lech, right by the Bergbahn Oberlech valley station, with more than 600 spaces and open to everyone around the clock. From there, it’s a short walk to any of the three points.
Coming up from the valley by public transport? Trains run to Langen am Arlberg and St. Anton, with regional buses continuing to Lech.
What to Bring
- Your lift pass. You don’t need it to reach the meeting points, but you’ll need it once the lesson heads up the mountain. Ski lift passes can be easily bought or collected from the Bergbahn or the Rüfikopfbahn.
- Skis, boots, poles and a helmet, fitted the day before if you can. See our Lech ski hire guide.
- Suncream, water and a snack for the kids.
