Our friends and winter 2013/14 clothing and equipment partners Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports stock everything that a skier or snowboarder could possibly desire this Christmas. So we felt it only right to challenge them to give us their most wanted item from the 1000’s on offer in their shops.

Travel ear plugs

Ear plugs – not sure Steve’s wife would agree

Steve, Ski Buyer, Skier & Runner

Travel ear plugsI know saying that I want to find earplugs under the tree on Christmas morning will be viewed as an odd request and actually I’d prefer to receive them the night before as with a pregnant wife these are not so much a wish but a demand!

ECase iSeries iPhone Case

iPhone ecase

Keeps your iPhone toasty

This little case is perfect size for most phones including Samsung S3 model which I take everywhere with me. It has a completely waterproof seal at the side and back and front clear pockets so you can use your camera while it’s pouring down! It’s not too bulky either, it fits perfectly in the back of a cycling jacket – very nice.

I seem to carry an ever increasing number of ‘indispensable’ gadgets these days and to suddenly find any one of them without any battery remaining can cause me to go into melt down! Therefore the Powermonkey Discovery is top of my list as this sleek and light portable charger is the perfect solution, yes please Santa!

I would like a pair of Boot Bananas – Be it Snowboarding, Skiing, Walking, Running and Climbing the boot Bananas will help freshen up and absorb the moisture leaving my footwear smelling fruity and being dry!

For Christmas I would really like a Suunto Quest watch.  It would help me to burn off the estimated 7000 calories I will eat on Christmas Day!

Power stretch top

Apres, walking, skiing – a great wee top!

Laura, Design Manager, Snowboarder & Climber
At the top of my Christmas list is a Rab Women’s Power Stretch Zip Top.  I think it will just be an invaluable all-round essential piece of kit. Great under a waterproof shell for walking, ideal for snowboarding and cool enough for apres drinks!

Awesome bit of Garmin kit

Awesome bit of Garmin kit

Garmin Forerunner 610 As a self-confessed Garmin Connect and Strava addict, I’m a bit obsessed with recording my every move when it comes to exercise. While I have the Edge 500 for my bike, the Garmin Forerunner 610  would be the perfect gadget for keeping track of my progress and heart rate when running, swimming and even snowboarding so I can know when to push myself that bit harder. The touchscreen function and bright display really sets this HRM watch apart from the rest. (Fingers & toes crossed.)

Richard, Snowboarder

The Hotronic Snapdry is the perfect gift for those who spend the whole day on the slope to come back to the chalet with soaking wet boots.  The Snapdry dries and warms those boots with a gentle heated air system to ensure your feet are comfortable for a new day on the slopes. The Snapdry has a built-in timer and can be used to dry out your gloves as well.
