Where to Meet for Your Courchevel 1650 Lessons

Welcome to Courchevel 1650. Our meeting point is at the bottom of the Ariondaz bubble, up the escalators from the village centre, and this page gets you there with time to spare.

The Meeting Point (All Group Lessons)

We meet to the right of the bottom of the Ariondaz bubble, alongside the fencing. Look for our instructors in their green New Generation jackets.

  1. From the centre of 1650, by the Tourist Office on the main road, take the escalators up.
  2. Continue out onto the snow front and turn immediately right.
  3. Walk up the right-hand side of the gondola.
  4. We’re about 50 metres up, alongside the fencing.

The meeting point is at village level, reached on foot, so you don’t need a lift pass to get to us. Watch a short video of how to get there.

When to Arrive

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson starts. So we can ensure that there are no delays to your lesson start time. Check your booking confirmation for your lesson start time.

Getting Here

Staying in 1650? The village is compact, and most accommodation is within a short walk of the centre. Head for the Tourist Office and the escalators.

Staying in Le Praz, 1550, 1850 or La Tania? The free Courchevel valley ski bus needs no lift pass and links all the villages, running every 10 minutes or so between Moriond and Courchevel 1850 from early morning until late. The main 1650 stop is a short walk from the escalators: cross the road and head up. If you’re on skis with a valid pass, you can also ski into 1650, with runs coming right down to the snow front.

By car: The Parking des Cimes Blanches is in Moriond itself, and the outdoor Les Grandes Combes car park sits between 1650 and 1550 next to the bus park. Free outdoor car parks at Le Praz (around 300 spaces) connect to 1650 via the free bus.

What to Bring

  • Your lift pass. You don’t need it to reach the meeting point, but you’ll need it for the lesson itself. You can collect or purchase lift passes in the building that links the meeting point to the main road. The ticket office is at the top of the tall double escalator.
  • Skis, boots, poles and a helmet, fitted the day before if you can. See our Courchevel ski hire guide.
  • Suncream, water and a snack for the kids.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are flexible. We can meet you at your chalet, hotel or anywhere that suits, but please tell us at the time of booking, and we will try our best to accommodate your request. If nothing is arranged, your instructor will meet you at the group meeting point by the Ariondaz, as above.

Running Late or Can’t Find Us?

Don’t worry, it happens every week. Contact our Courchevel team, and we’ll guide you to the meeting point or connect you with your group.
