Where to Meet for Your St Anton Lessons

Welcome to St Anton. Our meeting point is at the base of the Galzigbahn in the centre of town, and this page gets you there with time to spare.

The Meeting Point (All Group Lessons)

We meet at the base of the Galzigbahn, St Anton’s main cable car, in the centre of town. Look for our instructors in their green New Generation jackets.

1. Head to the Galzigbahn valley station in the town centre.
2. Continue onto the snowfront and keep to the left of the piste, looking uphill.
3. We’re right there, 10 to 15 minutes before lessons start.

The meeting point is at village level, so you don’t need a lift pass to reach it.

When to Arrive

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson starts. This will ensure that we can start the lesson on time, so you get the most time possible on the slopes.

Getting Here

Staying in central St Anton? The Galzigbahn is a short walk from the pedestrian centre. The railway station is also just across the main road, a few minutes on foot.

Staying in Nasserein? Take the free ski bus to the Terminal West and Rendlbahn stop. From there:

1. Follow the road up the hill to the left side of the ski hire shop, opposite the bus station.
2. Walk towards the roundabout and follow the road to the third roundabout exit. This road runs between Alber Freeride and the hotel Angelika.
3. You’ll arrive at the Galzigbahn base. Head past the left side of the Galzigbahn, and you’ll see our meeting point.

The free ski buses run roughly every 20 minutes and don’t require a ticket. They also serve St Jakob, Mooserkreuz and the surrounding villages.

Coming from St Christoph, Stuben or further afield? The free ski bus runs between St Christoph and Flirsch throughout the day. Buses to Lech and Zürs run too, but those routes are paid.

By car: The Nasserein car park at the eastern entrance to town and the car park at the old Rendlbahn valley station both charge around EUR 7 per day for cars. Central underground garages fill early on busy mornings, so arrive before about 8.30 AM or use the outer car parks and the free ski bus. Free parking is available further out at St Christoph and Alpe Rauz.

What to Bring

• Your lift pass. You don’t need it to reach the meeting point, but you’ll need it once the lesson heads up the mountain. You can collect or purchase your lift passes.
• Skis, boots, poles and a helmet, fitted the day before if you can. See our St Anton ski hire guide.
• Suncream, water and a snack for the kids.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are flexible. We can meet you at your hotel, chalet, or anywhere that suits you, but please let us know when you book your ski lessons. If nothing is arranged, your instructor will meet you at the group meeting point at the Galzigbahn, as above.
