Welcome to Val d’Isère. Our meeting point is on the main snow front in the centre of the village, and this page gets you there with time to spare.
The Meeting Point (All Group Lessons)
We meet on the snow front in Val d’Isère Centre, at the bottom of the Télécabine de Solaise. Look for our instructors in their green North Face New Generation uniforms.
- Head to the main snow front in the centre of Val d’Isère.
- Find the Solaise gondola (Télécabine de Solaise).
- As you approach the bottom of the lift, we’re to the left, in front of the row of trees.
The meeting point is at the village level, so you don’t need a lift pass to reach it.

When to Arrive
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson starts. This will ensure we can start the lesson on time, so you get as much time as possible on the slopes.
Check your booking confirmation for your lesson start time.
Getting Here
Staying in the centre? The snow front is a short walk from anywhere in central Val d’Isère.
Staying in La Daille, Le Fornet or the hamlets? Val d’Isère’s free shuttle buses run all day on three colour-coded lines. The Train Rouge links La Daille, the Centre and Le Fornet, running as often as every five minutes at peak times. The Train Jaune and Train Bleu serve the Manchet valley, Le Joseray and Le Legettaz. You can track buses in real time on the Val d’Isère app. The Rond Point des Pistes bus stop is closest to our meeting point.
Arriving by coach or valley bus? Coaches and the Bourg-Saint-Maurice buses arrive at the La Daille bus station. From there, hop on the free Train Rouge into the centre.
By car: Winter parking in Val d’Isère is paid, in indoor and outdoor car parks, and spaces can be booked ahead on the resort’s car parks website. Blue zones allow short stops only. The Q-Park Rond Point des Pistes or the Q-Park P1 Face de Bellevarde are the closest car parks to our meeting point.
What to Bring
- Your lift pass. You don’t need it to reach the meeting point, but you’ll need it for the lesson itself. You can collect this from the lift pass office near the meeting point.
- Skis, boots, poles and a helmet, fitted the day before if you can. See our Val d’Isère ski hire guide.
- Suncream, water and a snack for the kids. Val d’Isère is high, so the sun is strong even on cold days.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are flexible. We can meet you at your chalet, hotel, or anywhere that suits you, but please tell us at the time of booking. If nothing is arranged, your instructor will meet you at the group meeting point by the Solaise gondola, as above.
Running Late or Can’t Find Us?
Don’t worry, it happens every week. Call or WhatsApp our Val d’Isère team, and we’ll guide you or connect you with your group.
