To begin with, we’ll use Verbier’s purpose-built nursery areas and gentle pistes to make those first turns feel easy and controlled. The main beginner facilities are in the “Verbier Station” sector, including Les Esserts, Les Moulins and Le Rouge—ideal for building confidence before you head further into the 4 Vallées.
You’ll get comfortable with the basics (stopping, turning, using your poles, and managing speed) in a friendly group environment—then we’ll help you take that confidence onto longer runs as soon as you’re ready.
When you book group ski lessons Verbier with New Generation, the aim is simple: get you skiing confidently with people at the same ability level, in a fun, social setup. Our adult groups are delivered in English. Are guaranteed to run even with just one pupil and are capped at six people so you still get plenty of personal feedback.
A few days before your first session, you’ll receive a practical email with key details (including the meeting point and a handy map). On day one, plan to arrive a little early so you can get organised and ready to start smoothly.
Expect a friendly warm-up, a quick chat about goals, and a simple on-snow check so your instructor can confirm you’re in the right group. From there, the session is built around coaching—short drills, clear cues, then guided skiing on terrain that matches the group.
Verbier is brilliant for progression because you can start small and progress quickly.
You’ll leave each session with clearer technique, smarter tactics for the terrain in front of you, and a couple of simple “homework” focuses—so the rest of your day in Verbier becomes practice that actually works.
In Verbier, the standard meeting point is Arctic Juice café, next to the W Hotel and directly opposite the Médran lift station—ideal for accessing the main lift network quickly.
Bring your skis/boots/poles, waterproof layers, and your lift pass (we’ll advise which one is right for your level). A helmet and goggles are recommended, plus a snack or a little money for a drink
