I first stood on skis at just one year old in Trysil, Norway, taught by my mother, father, and grandpa. Although I didn’t grow up in the mountains, spending my childhood on Sweden’s west coast in Uddevalla, skiing quickly became a central part of my life. I never competed seriously, but I did take part in small races in Trysil when I was young, with a stronger focus on giant slalom than slalom. Today, my approach to skiing is all about continuous improvement—I train across the full spectrum, from short, medium, and long turns to tactical piste demonstrations, off-piste skiing, moguls, and ziplines, always aiming to deliver the highest-quality skiing for guests of any level. One of my best memories is a Valentine’s Day powder day last season, skiing all over the mountain with close friends, when everything flowed effortlessly—those are the days you think about all summer.
I became a ski instructor after being inspired as a child by the instructors I watched in Trysil and the stories my parents told me about their skills and training; now in my fifth season, that childhood dream has become a reality I appreciate more each year. What I love most about instructing is helping people reach their goals in a relaxed, stress-free way and seeing them ski with confidence, control, and that unmistakable smile that comes from being fully in the moment. Outside of skiing, I have a background in competitive Swedish couple dancing (Bugg and Rock), and in the summer I work in Uddevalla while focusing heavily on fitness training to prepare for the next winter. I’m passionate about football, ice hockey, alpine racing, cross-country skiing, and handball—sport has always been a huge part of who I am.
