I started skiing at the age of five, first taught by my dad and later developing my skills through ski schools in St. Johann and Fieberbrunn in Austria. Although I didn’t grow up in the mountains, winter holidays on snow quickly turned skiing into a true passion. I’ve never competed, but skiing has always been a huge part of my life, driven purely by love for the sport. In my free time, I enjoy a mix of freestyle skiing and alpine skiing with great views, drawing inspiration from skiers like Jesper Tjäder and Ingemar Stenmark. One of my favourite ski memories is from last season in Saalbach, skiing down from the highest point as the sun set behind the mountains and wondering why the lifts ever have to close at 4 p.m. I became a ski instructor because I wanted to combine my passion for skiing with working on the mountain, constantly refining my technique and sharing that passion with others. What I love most about instructing is teaching a sport I truly care about and seeing others enjoy it as much as I do.

Outside of winter, I work at my family’s campsite in Österlen in southern Sweden, helping out with various projects, and I have a wide range of interests—from football, which I’ve played my whole life, to running and endurance sports, including completing an Ironman in Barcelona. I also have a background in table tennis at a high level, enjoy trying almost any sport, and studied practical and theoretical philosophy, cognitive neuroscience at Lund University, as well as economics at Mälardalen University.
