Daniele Buio

Ski Instructor, St Martin de Belleville

3 Valleys, France

My Story

I was born in Rovereto, Italy, a beautiful town surrounded by mountains, in Trentino. I’ve been skiing since I was two years old.

I did competitive ski racing until 19, participating in essential competitions, earning a good FIS score. I then became a ski instructor. I spent my first year as an instructor in the Alpe Cimbra ski area in Trentino.

I am a former athlete and coach, so I have much experience in the competitive field and with high-level athletes. I attended high school in the social field and have educational skills with children and disabled people. I am familiar with both beginners and expert skiers.

In the summers since 2016, I have belonged to the Italian national grass ski team, where I compete internationally. In the summer of 2023, I won the silver medal at the world championships and placed third in the overall World Cup ranking.

I am also attending the last year of university in the Faculty of Sports Science.
