Get to Know Duncan

Hello, I’m Duncan. I’ve been skiing since I was five, getting started on the majestic slopes of the Munros in Scotland. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to ski across the globe, from the rugged beauty of Scotland to the iconic Alps and even the powdery expanses of Asia.

Freeride skiing is my go-to when I’m not instructing, with my fondest memory having to be descending La Grand Central Couloir of Le Face Nord of the Bellocote on a pristine January morning. Moments like this are what skiing is about.

My favourite part of being an instructor is helping guests overcome challenges and achieve their goals, no matter the weather. I teach both skiing and snowboarding, and I don’t really have a preference between the two.

When the snow melts, you’ll find me running a surf company in beautiful Donegal, Ireland, swapping skis for surfboards. My summers are spent catching waves and cycling the scenic roads.
