SKILEHRER-ANWÄRTER (LEVEL 1+2)
I grew up skiing in the mountains around Iceland, learning to ski at age 2 from my parents and coaches. I competed in slalom and giant slalom until I was 14, and some of my best skiing memories are the freeride sessions after practice. These days it’s alpine, freeride and off-piste skiing, plus a little touring.
I’ve been skiing my whole life, and my father taught in St. Anton when he was my age, so becoming an instructor felt like following in his ski tracks. This is my first year, and my favourite thing about the job? Excited to find out.
In the summer, I work in construction, and all kinds of outdoor recreation, and my hobbies are hiking, golfing and mountain biking. I also have some search and rescue training. One surprising fact about me: I have a twin sister.
