Qualifications

Italian Ski Instructor Qualification and Italian Snowboarding Qualification

I grew up in the Italian Dolomites, where the ski slopes were my playground. I learned to ski at 2 years old, taught by my dad, who’s an instructor, and went straight into racing. I competed until I was 20, when university made me quit, racing at the national and international FIS level, mainly in GS and slalom, with some Super G. I picked up snowboarding three years ago, and in my free time it’s carving and powder on skis, and carving and freestyle on the board. Every memory on the snow is a great one, so I can’t pick a best; probably every time I stepped on the podium, and my exams during the instructor course.

I became an instructor to share my passion for skiing and the outdoors—and it was also the best way to end my competing career. My favourite things about the job are being outside, getting to know new people, and teaching something you love. I’ve been instructing for five years.

I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting, and in the summer, I travel the world and work. I’ll do any sport going: CrossFit, climbing, cycling, slackline, surfing, wakeboarding, aerial silks, and in my free time I love reading, drawing and spending time with animals outdoors. One surprising fact about me? I have a lot, I’ve worked as a ski instructor in China, and I’m always travelling when I’m not on the slopes.
