Jacopo Biz

I grew up in a ski resort, Piancavallo, Italy. I learned to ski at two and a half years old, taught by my instructor Tania. I spent 11 years racing with a team, and now I ski for myself, especially freeriding and ski alpinism. My best skiing memory? Becoming a ski instructor. It was a lifetime goal.

My favourite thing about the job is being able to do what I love for a living and seeing clients happy. This is my first year instructing, though winter never really ends for me, as I spend the summer teaching skiing in Australia and surfing.

Away from the snow, I climb as much as I can, plus mountaineering and surfing. One surprising fact about me: I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute.
