Lapo Francescangeli

I grew up in Bormio and learned to ski when I was 3, taught by my dad and later by my first ski instructor. I competed in alpine skiing for 10 years, achieving multiple international podium finishes and travelling across Europe with my team for international races – though my favourite skiing memory is still competing in my very first race. In my free time I love freestyle skiing and telemark, and when there’s plenty of snow, I go freeriding too.

I love this sport and want to make it my career – that’s why I became an instructor. My favourite thing about the job is working with people and creating unforgettable memories for them. This is my first year instructing, teaching piste skiing and telemark in Tignes and Val d’Isère.

During the summer I study economics in Milan, and away from the snow I love going to the gym, riding motocross and riding bikes of all kinds.
