Lucia Maier

My name is Lucia, I am 20 years old. I have been skiing since I was 4 years old, I stared at the resort called La Dole in Switzerland. I moved to Argentina when I was 10, but I continued skiing every winter in the wonderful Patagonian region. I enjoy freeride, ski touring and snowboarding. 

If there is a day with heavy snowfall, of course, I love going off-piste and enjoying the powder. If not, on my day off I like skiing with friends and traying new things, like doing some jumps and pushing myself to take on new challenges.

My favorite part of being a ski instructor is having fun with my students, playing games and challenging them to progress as well. I feel very proud when one of my students exceeds their own expectation and goes home happy. 

In the summer, I go back to the snow! I spend the whole year in full winter mode. I return to Bariloche and continue teaching ski lessons to beginners. I also enjoy climbing, so in the afternoons I usually go bouldering.
