I first learned to ski at the age of three, taught by my parents, grandparents, and ski instructors while growing up in Trento, in the heart of Trentino.
I started skiing between Monte Bondone and Val di Fassa, close to home, and went on to compete in all alpine disciplines from middle school until I was around 19–20 years old. Although I enjoyed racing and the team environment, I was always more drawn to carving and off-piste skiing than to chasing gates, and the sport played a huge role in shaping who I am today.
After finishing my competitive career and dealing with a couple of injuries, I chose to follow the teaching path so I could continue living in the mountains and sharing my passion for skiing. Even now, I like to challenge myself with new goals in freeride and carving, while still occasionally training in gates. In my free time, you’ll find me carving, freeriding, ski touring, or jumping into gates now and then. One of my best ski memories is a birthday when a race was cancelled due to heavy snowfall—giving us the perfect excuse to ski powder off piste and spend the day playing in the snow.
I became a ski instructor to be on skis every day and share my love for the sport, and my favourite part of the job is seeing the smiles on people’s faces. Outside of winter, I teach windsurfing and wingfoiling, and I’m passionate about staying active through windsurf, wingfoil, tennis, mountain biking, climbing, and hiking.
Alongside skiing, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, VDWS Level 2 instructor licences in windsurf and wingfoil, and I’m a qualified Italian ski instructor.
