BSI 2 (Danish ski school)
I learned to ski at the age of 2, taught by my dad and some ski instructors. Growing up in the flat country of Denmark, skiing was always something we did on holidays, and I’ve been skiing with my family for as long as I can remember. Things stepped up when I started at a ski-focused boarding school – ski trips became more frequent and turned into multiple week-long courses focused on technical skiing and instructor training. In my free time I like trying to perfect my technique, but also just letting loose, jumping around side hits and finding off-piste lines. My best skiing memories are of skiing some really fun off-piste lines with my brother and my dad.
Becoming an instructor was a natural step for me – a way to ski as much as possible – and my favourite thing about the job is giving others the opportunity to create the same amazing memories I’ve had on skis myself. This is my second season, teaching piste skiing in St Anton and Lech.
In the summer I work at concerts and festivals in Denmark while spending as much time with friends as possible. I like to run and stay active, but I equally love just chilling with a good movie. One surprising fact about me: I enjoy learning odd skills, like juggling and solving a Rubik’s cube.
