Qualifications
Slovenian full qualification and race coach.
I first learned to ski at the age of two, taught by my mother, and grew up skiing in the Slovenian Alps, with regular ski holidays in Austria. With my father working as a lift operator at our local ski area, I spent countless days on snow, which naturally shaped skiing into a central part of my life. In my free time, I choose my skis based on the conditions—off-piste and touring skis when the snow is good, and race skis when it’s not. Picking a single best ski memory is impossible, as some of my favourite moments include big mountain days with friends and relaxed skiing with family.
I became a ski instructor simply because I love skiing and wanted to turn my passion into my profession—there’s no better way to earn a living. What I enjoy most about being an instructor isn’t just skiing itself, but the whole environment: the mountains, the snow, the people who share the same passion, and especially the happy faces of guests when they’re having fun and realising how much they’ve improved. Outside of winter, I work in TV broadcasting as a camera technician and operator, travelling to different places around the world. In my free time, I love travelling, mountaineering, and mountain biking, and I hold full Slovenian ski instructor and race coach qualifications.
