Olympic Park Pool
The swimming pool at Méribel’s Olympic Park is a great option for supervised play with younger children. The warm water and playful environment make this a perfect indoor activity, especially on poor weather days.
Altiport Sledging and Snow Play
If you’re looking to go sledging or find somewhere to simply play in the snow, the Altiport area is a great choice. It’s easily accessible via a short bus ride from Méribel Centre or La Chaudanne. On sunny days, it’s a peaceful spot to let children play in the snow or enjoy sledging. You may even get to see small planes and helicopters take off.
Play Area in the Tourist Office
If you’re stopping by the Méribel Centre Tourist Office, you’ll find a small play area. This gives parents a breather while they gather local information. This area can be a brilliant place to warm up or stop after sledging or shopping in town.
Ranch Nordic

Just a short walk from the Meribel Motteret bus stop, Ranch Nordique is a dream for animal lovers. You can ride in a horse-drawn sleigh, pet friendly animals, and even feed real reindeer. You’ll have to pre-book to visit, especially during busy holiday weeks.
Lac Tueda
Lac Tueda in Meribel Motteret is a beautiful frozen lake surrounded by snowy landscapes. It is a lovely place to walk on a sunny day with your children. There’s also a cosy restaurant. The perfect place to warm up with a hot chocolate stop.
Horse and Carriage Rides in Motteret
The Meribel Mottaret horse and carriage ride is perfect for families seeking a relaxed experience. The horse and carriage ride is best on a clear day, which will help little ones stay warm whilst taking in the scenery.
Christmas Magic
If you’re visiting Meribel on Christmas Eve, children can enjoy Santa parades, fireworks, and special performances in both Méribel Centre and Motteret. Make sure to check the tourist office or Méribel app for the latest Christmas events.
