Our St Martin de Belleville Ski School is small but mighty and has been running since 2011. In that time, our team have grown and gained the local knowledge to enable you to have unforgettable experiences in St Martin de Belleville.

This goal is at the heart of everything we do, from our instructor recruitment and training to all our processes in-resort. Airport Transfers

If you’re arriving by air then the following transfer companies offer airport transfers, either private or sometimes shared:

There are buses from the airport but you will need to change at Moutiers and they’re not cheap so if they is a few of you it often cheaper to share a transfer.

The train is the cheapest option but again this will involve several changes and the trains are somewhat infrequent.

For easy access to the lift & ski pass office facilities, park in the Cochet Parking area over the road from the St Martin 1 gondola. Parking throughout the village is free, although there is a time limit to parking spaces in the centre of the village. Parking is also free in the neighbouring resort of Les Menuires (under a 10 minute drive up the valley).

There is a regular free bus service which links the Belleville Valley. Timetables are published on the tourist office website, alternatively paper versions are available from the tourist office itself.

Getting around the small village of St Martin de Belleville is easy by foot. Most catered chalets locally offer a chauffeur service to & from your accommodation to the slopes.

  • Boucherie Christophe – On Rue Saint François is a high quality traditional butchers & deli also offering traditional local products such as cheese, cured meats, honey & wine.
  • Patisserie La Rissole – Offers delicious cakes, pastries and various different breads. We are addicted to the ‘Floriment’ loaf. You can also enjoy a tea or coffee inside (or to takeaway). Located on Rue Saint Martin.
  • Au Coin des Producteurs – Sells regional Savoyard products such as mountain charcuterie, cheeses, award winning wines, hand-made liqueurs, high quality chocolates and home-made jams.
  • Supérette 8 à Huit – A mini supermarket on Place de la Mairie.
  • Supérette Proxi des Grangeraies – A basic mini market on Rue Notre Dame below Le Dahlia Restaurant.
  • Laurent Traiteur – Situated on Rue Saint François, they offer starters, main courses and desserts to take away, as well as local produce including cold meats, cheese, wine, jam, honey and liqueurs.

Doctor’s – In La Croisette in Les Menuires you will find the Centre Médical with Dr Guilleot or the doctor’s office of Dr Lemaire Odile is also located there.

Pharmacy – Pharmacie des Belleville is located on Rue Saint Martin.

Post Office – Located on Rue Saint Martin.

Tabac – On Rue Saint François selling tobacco, newspapers, magazines, post cards & a small selection of wooden toys & games.

Cash Point – Crédit Agricole Bank on Rue Saint François offering basic counter services (mornings only & closed on Sundays & Mondays) & an ATM which is accessible round the clock.

Hairdresser – Salon d’Hiver hairdresser for men, women & children on Rue de Château Feuillet.

Tourist Office – Located on Place de l’Eglise in the main square have a very helpful & friendly team available to offer visitors information & advice.

Laundrette – Au Lavoir linen rental and laundrette on Rue St Martin.

Spa & Beatuty Treatments – La Béla Vya Mountain Spa at La Bouitte Hotel in Saint Marcel offering sauna, jacuzzi, pool & mountain inspired treatments. Or Ô des Cîmes Spa in Chalets du Gypse on Rue des Choumettes offering a pool, massages and treatments.

There are a variety of non-skiing activities available in the valley.

For some more relaxing activities, yoga is offered on Tuesdays in the village hall ‘Salle des Fêtes’. There are a number of lovely winter walks & snowshoe outings. Maps & guides can be booked through the tourist office & pedestrian lift passes are available at the ski pass office. Or relax with a massage or spa treatment at Ô des Cîmes Spa in Chalets du Gypse.

Head out on a dog sledge ride on the Doron path between the forest and the river if that’s your cup of tea. Or for something a bit different there is a museum in St Martin de Belleville. Located behind the church on Place de l’église is in a refurbished Bellevillois farm house. Guided tours are available to explain 150 years of local history from agriculture & tourism to the way local life has evolved across the Valley. Headphones are also available for English speaking visitors.

If you want something for the kids to do there are two different toboggan runs. The Roc’n Bob 4km toboggan run is accessible via the Roc 1 gondola in La Croisette area of Les Menuires. Minimum age – 7 years old. Open everyday except Saturday 14 – 18.45 PM. Or try out Speed Mountain. This toboggan run on rails in Les Bruyères district of Les Menuires. Minimum age – 5 years old. Open everyday except Saturday 13 – 20.00 PM

If you’re looking for a bit more adventure, why not mountain bike on snow? Yes really! Roc’n Bike is open everyday except Saturday 9am – 16.45pm. Minimum age – 12 years old. Or skidoo in the evening after the pistes are closed with Scoot’Evasion skidoo. Minimum age – 10 years old. Book in the Brasserie de l’Oisans, La Croisette, Les Menuires.

The Centre Sportif also offers a number of activities in La Croisette Les Menuires. Swimming pools, spa area, table tennis, badminton courts, squash courts, basketball & Fun Park, as well as a soft play zone for kids under 12 years old.

There are no agencies for qualified nannies based in the village, but there are a number of companies based in the Three Valleys that might be able to provide a nanny. Alpine Childcare, t4 Nanny, Jelly & Ice Cream are all good starting points.

Le Club des Piou Piou is a non-ski nursery that accepts children from 18 months to 5 years old. The Club is run by ESF St Martin & the centre is approved by the DDASS and the Departmental for Youth and Sport. Toilet facilities, play areas and a restaurant are available on site for children.

For private babysitters, seasonnaires are often happy to help & earn some extra pocket money – ask locally for recommendations.
