Meribel is a world-famous ski resort. It is in the 3 Valleys, the world’s biggest ski area. Meribel offers endless on and off-piste skiing. And, there is a vibrant nightlife with bars, live music events, clubs and restaurants.
Your coaches will prepare you for your BASI exams. You’ll also learn about avalanche safety, off-piste skiing, racing, and first aid.
Over ten weeks, you’ll turn your skiing passion into a profession. The journey starts with a deep dive into the basic skills and theories of skiing. This sets you up for the BASI Level 1 and 2 exams. The first two weeks focus on building your understanding of skiing. They cover the central theme, fundamental elements, and teaching methods. You’ll learn through practical application, developing balance, agility, and precision on the slopes.
In week 3, you’ll sit your BASI Level 1 exam. This focuses on teaching beginners and intermediates.
Your course finishes with the BASI Level 2 exam. BASI trainers will watch you closely. Testing you rigorously on skiing and teaching. They’re examiners but aim to get you qualified, boosting your skills and confidence.
You’ll train five days a week. Plus, you’ll get meals, accommodation, and equipment discounts. There are return transfers from Geneva Airport and a full season 3 Valleys lift pass. Giving you access to the world’s largest ski area.
