Val d’Isère ski resorts sits at 1850 altitude. It’s famous for being one of the most reliable ski resorts for snow in Europe, due to its high altitude and deep valley where the snow is protected from other elements like sun and wind.

60% of the slopes in Tignes & Val d’Isère are over 2500m meaning it is a very snow-sure resort. The valley itself where Val d’Isère is located, is narrow with steep walls meaning it has its own little microclimate at the end of the valley. Making for snowy conditions all winter long.
